Hi there, my name is Kiley and I have been stitching for 10 years. My friend who I have know since we were born taught me and I have been so thankful to her for this. I love to stitch large pieces, lots of beautiful ladies and fairies. My favorite designers are Nora Corbett, Paula Vaughn, Lavender & Lace, and many many more. I have a good stash, but it I am happy to have it continue to grow. I can't resist a pattern I see even though I know I won't get to it for many years. I have kept the last few that I have stitched, though my next projects are fairy pieces for my bridesmaids. I am hoping to learn a lot from being here on Threads, I know I have a lot more to learn and try.
I look forward to being a part of this wonderful community.

to Threads, Kiley, from Laura who lives in southern California, but who is temporarily up in Oregon.
I've been cross stitching forever it seems, off and on since I was a small child. Bouts of cross stitching have been interspersed with knitting, crochet, and counted needlepoint. I'm currently a fiend, who'd love to do a little , but don't have time. Laura
See my blog. Use my free fabric calculator.
Rotation: Bah. Working on... whatever, and all cross-stitch is on hold.

from a Swede living in northern Norway. I'm a complete addict to HAED or Heaven and Earth Designs. And as I think everyone else here, I love cats and have 2.

Kiley! I'm also a fan of Paula Vaughan and Nora Corbett, although I prefer some of her earlier designs, namely the Queens. I'm also a huge fan of Chatelaine designs, and I have 3 kitties (one of which has been having a major freak out this morning).

to Threads, Kiley! I have a cat too, her name is Zoe and she's a half-crazed calico. That's her in my avatar.
I love Mirabilia too, but I've only finished one. Queen Mermaid. Have lots more in my stash of course.
And yes, we will lead you into most stash buying and encourage you to give in to temptation!

Thanks everyone. I have two cats, brother and sister black and white short hairs, Emma and Loki. Also a puppy named Mica, she is a mini schnauzer. Loki loves her, they play all the time. Emma, however, just isn't ready to give in to another female princess in the house. I am blessed to have cats who leave my stitching alone, except my scissor and needle; Emma is obsessed with anything metal or plastic! My stash of Nora is steadily growing. What I am hope to do now is branch out on what fabrics I use. I have been using Linen for a long time now, and very rarely Aida. So any tips of other lovely fabrics are welcome. I'm also interested in hand-dyed.

If you like hand-dyed fabrics you might also want to check out Sassy's Fabbys. I've got several of her pieces and they're all wonderful.... Kathy ~ in North Wake Forest, NC
